Hi, I’m Carla, the calm behind the chaos and the founder of Virtual Waves. It’s so nice to meet you!

I’m originally from Cancun, Mexico, and now happily building a life in New Brunswick, Canada, with my husband and our furry sidekick, Melvin. Growing up by the ocean deeply shaped who I am, and it’s exactly where the inspiration for Virtual Waves comes from. For me, the beach represents clarity, calm, and rhythm… the same feeling I aim to bring to your business.

I’ve always been a natural organizer and systems lover. As an introvert, perfectionist, and highly detail-oriented person, becoming a Virtual Assistant felt like the perfect fit. I’ve spent over four years supporting business owners and teams with administrative management, tech implementation, and process optimization, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes so nothing falls through the cracks.

My role is to make your business feel supported and under control. With me, you’ll always know what’s happening, what’s next, and what’s been taken care of, allowing you to focus on growth, creativity, and the work that matters most to you.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me watching movies or series, reading, enjoying anything related to storytelling, or spending time with my husband, family, and friends (especially when it means a trip back to Cancun).
